If the Keyboard Dock (PA5333E-*) of the Portege X30T-E & WT30-E has EC/KBC version less than V1.50 installed, Wake on LAN (WOL) is not supported while PC has been sent to ACPI S5 mode ("fully off state").

 When using other sleep states, WOL is working as expected.

 Note that the tablet PC BIOS and EC/KBC must be updated too.

To enable support of Wake on LAN (WOL) from ACPI S5 mode ("fully off state") on the Portege X30T-E and WT30-E, please apply updates for the Keyboard dock (KB Dock EC/KBC) as well as the PC (BIOS and EC/KBC). Additionally the Realteak LAN driver need to be updated to version 10.34.0603.2019 or later.

 Apply Keyboard Dock EC/KBC version 1.50 or later

  Tablet PC BIOS and LAN Driver Update Information
 Apply Tablet PC BIOS version 2.90 / Tablet PC EC,KBC* version 1.70 or later (* Tablet PC EC/KBC is included in the Windows BIOS Update version)
 Apply Realteak LAN driver version 10.34.0603.2019 or later

  Keyboard Dock Update Process

1. Download Keyboard Dock EC/KBC version 1.50 update package and extract it on the target unit:
   
   
   
   NOTE
   This EC/KBC Update can only be applied on the Keyboard Dock (PA5333E-*)
   It can not be applied on the Travel Keyboard (PA5334E-*)
   
2. Connect the Keyboard Dock to the Tablet and boot the Operating System (Windows 10 OS required).
3. Never eject the Keyboard Dock, nor remove the battery, unplug the AC cord or touch the power button during firmware update process.
4. Copy the EC/KBC update to the target unit. Run "Update.bat" to start the Keyboard Dock EC/KBC flashing process.
   
   NOTE
   In case you are not sure if V1.50 has already been applied, run "Fupdate.bat" to force EC/KBC V1.50 update.
   Otherwise you can check the version of current Keyboard Dock EC/KBC within the BIOS Setup (reboot the unit and press/hold "F2" key to enter BIOS Setup; Dock version information is display on the first page)
   
5. After the EC/KBC update has been successfully applied, a log file containing the update result has been created (located in the same folder like the update files).

   Tablet PC BIOS and LAN Driver Update Information

1. Download the latest BIOS Update package via our Download Portal. Note that this package contain the necessary EC/KBC update too.
2. Run the package on the target unit and follow instructions on screen.
3. LAN Driver Update:
   If not applied yet, please install the Realtek LAN driver version 10.34.0603.2019 or later to enable WoL support. This driver can be downloaded via our Download Portal too.

After you've successfully applied 1.) the Dock's EC/KBC update, 2.) Tablet PC's BIOS,EC/KBC and 3.) the Realtek LAN driver, WoL after ACPI S5 mode is supported.
